Biography
Arun brings nearly 25 years of experience in dispute resolution and litigation, with a particular focus on direct and indirect taxation. He began his career with a Big Four audit firm and went on to serve as Standing Counsel for the Income Tax Department for over a decade, gaining deep insight into both advisory and contentious aspects of tax law.
He represents clients across industries before the Revenue Authorities, Customs, Excise, Service Tax, Tribunals and High Courts. In addition, Arun advises participants in the real estate sector including property developers, buyers, lessors and lessees—on a wide range of matters, from property disputes to due diligence on immovable assets and negotiation of sale and lease deeds.
Beyond his legal practice, Arun has contributed to the healthcare sector as the Honorary Secretary of Madras Medical Mission, a renowned hospital in India.
